Ratings for Dr. Janet M. Neigel
had what i though was a stye or small pimple that suddenly popped up on the margin of my lower eyelid. Because of the close proximity to my eye, I was referred to Dr. Neigel for its removal. Dr. Neigel performed the surgery and about a week later, had me come into the office to examine the area and discuss the results of the biopsy. To my surprise, the results indicated that it was basal cell cancer. She was sensitive to the fact that this news would upset me, and her bedside manner was great. She immediately had her staff schedule an appointment with a "mohs" specialist who would remove any cancerous tissue and an appointment with her to repair the eyelid. Everything was done quickly and successfully. I am very pleased with the results and my eyelid is healing very nicely. I am very grateful to Dr. Neigel for her help in detecting and removing the cancer, and for her expertise in repairing a very visible area.
She's TERRIBLE. Any good reviews must have been written by her staff. This was the worst experience I have had with a physician. My face will never be the same. "Dr." Neigel injected me with Sculptra, which she said would fill out my face. Instead it left me with trenches and hollows which look as if huge chuncks of tissue had been cut away. I am a mess and this is permanent. I have sought help from plastic surgeons, who just shake their heads sadly. Neigel is all about the money, she does not even schedule return visits to check the results. If you insist on returning, she will say you look wonderful. If you ask to see the pre-procedure photos, it's no surprise they are "unavailable". It's a mystery to me that the surgical board has not put her out of practice.
Highly recommend going to a BOARD Certified plastic surgeon instead of this place. Staff is horrible. All new and confused.
I went to Dr. Neigel for a few years for botox. I never had a wait less than an hour, and once I was in the exam room, I usually had to wait an extra 30-45 minutes. Bedside manner is important to me and you get zero of it at the Neigel center. I got tired of the watered down botox - if from time to time it did end up taking effect, it would wear off and I would be ready for more in 3-4 weeks. I finally changed Doctors and started going to a plastic surgeon in the same building for my botox, and it was immediately like night and day. I can't believe I wasted so much time not knowing any better. He gives me full-test botox - never watered down, with never any sagging eyelids and wearing off. He takes 10 years off my face where as Neigel would barely make a change. And I only need to see him every 5-6 months. I've been with him for 5 years now and really wished someone had told me what botox by a real plastic surgeon was like. So here is your warning - if you choose to go to Neigel, you will waste your time and your money - lots of it.
Dr. Neigel and her staff were outstanding. They provided me with a warm and comfortable surgical center. I felt relaxed and in good hands. I needed reconstructive surgery after a Mohs procedure and I couldn't have chosen a better doctor. Her staff is professional as well as friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Neigel to anyone. A Marathon Runner
I have been seeing Dr. Neigel for a few years and she is extremely talented. She takes the extra time to listen to my needs. The outcomes she recommends are always terrific. I feel great about how I look which is much younger than my age. The office is beautiful and well run. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. I will keep coming as the results are just the best.
