Ratings for Dr. Viktoria Pavlova
Seems like your issues fall on deaf ears and that she doesn't actually believe you when you say you're sick, unless she sees a lot of markers in the blood work. My appointments are wastes of time. She hasn't done much for me at all in the past few years.
Secretary was very helpful and comforting not only for myself, but for my daughter who was with me. Dr. Pavlova was also very helpful and listened to my problems and acted on them. I had to travel 2 3/4 hrs. there and home again twice now. She took me right away and didn't keep me waiting even though it was her lunch time. I have NO complaints.
I guess this is the first doctor that I stopped going to in my whole life (I am 63 years old now). Front staff if inefficient and rude. Dr Pavlova can be helpful if you catch her on her good day otherwise you get what you get. Doesn't believe in patient's complaints. Its like your words are falling on deaf ears. Not confident of her treatment which scares me. Stayed with her for 3 years thinking things might change but I continued to get worse. I was referred to a different rheumatologist Dr Leggault by my family physician who acknowledged similar issues in her other patients as well. What a difference...absolutely day and night. Communication, treatment, compassion, accessibility every thing. I have been Dr Leggault's patient for 8 months now and realized how silly I was in wasting 3 years of my Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment with Dr Pavlova.
