Dr. Manatt was the primary care provider for my mother for many years. When she was hit by a driver as she was walking to her car in a parking lot, the case wound it's way through the legal system for several years. At arbitration, our attorney had obtained testimony (in a deposition) from Dr. Manatt regarding my mother's spinal condition, before and after the accident. While Dr. Manatt could have been "neutral" in the deposition re: her condition prior to the accident, for some reason, he cast doubt about this, thus affecting the final outcome & judgement of the case. Since our attorney was the one who obtained his testimony, and Dr. Manatt was paid $1,000 for his time, the least he could have done was be neutral (if not favorable), rather than a bit negative toward our stance -- particularly given the abundance of evidence & record, post-accident. Clearly, Dr. Manatt does not serve his patients as well as he could. At least he didn't for my mother.
