Please, stop putting "doctors" of this kind in the GNGH Emergency. Her lack of compassion and impatience doesn't allow anyone the chance to ask proper questions, let alone receiving proper treatment. That being said, I'm not entirely certain if the situation is entirely her fault because the emergency ward is designed to triage emergency situations. Once a complaint is deemed not to be an emergency, your treatment is put on the back burner so that other emergency situations are not delayed. On the other hand, I was promised that I would hear from a heart specialist within a few days and that contact never came. The referral was never made. I could go on, but instead, I'll just say that she needs to remember that people who come in to the emergency ward feel that their complaint is serious and should not be treated otherwise, even if the clinical data proves otherwise. Sometimes, all the patient needs is for someone to take them seriously and take the time to help them rectify the situation. Your overload at the GNGH is not our problem, don't make it ours. That is something that needs to be dealt with between the hospital administration and the attending doctors.

Dr. Alfayadh is missing the empathy gene and a semblance of professionalism. This woman should not be practicing direct patient care. Sent to ER from doctors office for chest XRay. After 3 1/2 hour total wait, Dr. Alfayadh diagnosed Bronchitis - and as an afterthought - you have a nodule on your lung. What? What kind of nodule? Is it big? Is it cancer? She said I needed to have a CT scan. I asked if I could have one right away. She responded "No, they probably wouldn't let me order one". You'll have to talk to your family doctor or the Cancer Center will call you"? What? Cancer Center? Prescribed an antibiotic and she began walking out of room. But, wait, can you talk to me a bit more about this "nodule?" I began crying, and apologized for being emotional, but the thought of lung cancer was devastating. She responded "Your crying and anger is upsetting for me." "How do you think it is for me having to take this home with me at the end of my shift?" Huh? I upset YOU??? If you get her in the ER - wait for another doctor. Has our Health care deteriorated to this?

This GP is a disgrace to the Niagara Health System. I will be complaining to the Administrator at the Niagara Falls Hospital with respect to how I was treated by this Doctor. I was sent home after a bad fall with multiple injuries. The one side of my face was black and swollen along with a black and swollen hand and swollen ankle. She was so rude and kept asking me what was I doing there and that there was nothing wrong with me other than a tiny facture in my hand that was too minor to do anything about. I also complained about severe chest pain and back pain and nothing was done to follow up. A couple of weeks later I had to go to my Family Physician because the wrist pain was getting worse. He Order X-rays of my hand and wrist. He called me the next day and told me I had two fractures - one in my hand and one in my wrist and asked me "why were you not referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon right away at the Hospital." I told him that the Doctor I say at Emergency Dr. Ridhab Alfayadh had told me that it was too minor to do anything about and basically she couldn't see anything wrong with me. All you had to do was to look at me and it was obvious I was in some sort of accident, but she kept saying that there was nothing wrong with me and "why are you walking like that" was another rude comment she made. I have never experienced this type of conduct by a Doctor ever before and I'm sure I never will. The person who wrote the first review with a 5 star rating must be a close relative as there was no understanding and compassion in the least by this Doctor. I am ever considering going to St. Catharines Emergency next time just to avoid the possibility of being seen by this Doctor. She is a disgrace to the Niagara Health System.

This Dr is barbaric! I was 7 days post op with a hysterectomy and was sent to ER by my own Dr due to unknown pain. This Dr not only refused to give me pain medication on a pain scale I was bouncing at a 9-10 for hours but she was convinced my pain was from being constipated. She ordered not 1 but 2 Enemas and a purging medication which alone can be painful. She gave me 2 rectal exams! All this while I am screaming in agony. My dog is treated better by his Vet than this Dr treats her patients! She did however order a CT scan where there are numerous issues that could be cause of the pain one being unknown fluid where my uterus once was! I would not recommend this Dr to my worst enemy.
