Ratings for Dr. Beth Taylor
After having a less than positive experience with another physician, I was referred to Dr.Taylor. She was very helpful, and informative. She listened to my concerns and recommended a plan of action I wish I had months earlier. Appreciate her time and caring nature.
Two words: she cares. She cares about your struggles and journey so much so that you feel like she's right there alongside you every step of the way. We had heard she was one of the top infertility doctors in the province before starting our treatments and didn't know what to expect, and I can confirm now several years in, she is by far every bit as good as they say. She's not only knowledgable, but so patient and never pushes you to make any decisions you're not comfortable with. Her straight forwardness was refreshing we appreciated she always set realistic expectations with us. Whoever gets Dr Taylor as their doctor is so lucky to have her, she is truly a god send.
Dr. Taylor is an incredibly good doctor. She is not only very knowledgably she is extremely kind. She wasn't my doctor at her clinic Olive Fertility but she was unfortunately the doctor that had to give me some of the worst news I had ever received during my IVF struggles. She did so with grace and with heart. I truly felt like she understood what this meant to me and she was not shy to state it was devastating. When I finally got to an embryo transfer stage she saw me for my ultrasound and always used very encouraging words. Then after I finally got pregnant I saw her for my last ultrasound at Olive. She put her hand on my shoulder and told me that everything looked beautiful. She is truly heaven sent. You are in good hands when you see Dr. Taylor and I would be shocked to hear any bad reviews.
We are very please with Dr.Taylor and her coworkers. Her nurses are kind and caring and go beyond to ensure comfort and knowledge through the IVF process. Olive Fertility centre is above and beyond our expectations. It is a beautiful, clean, well organized facility. We had the opportunity to meet with three other doctors at the clinic due to holidays and weekend appointments and we're pleased with the treatment and care from all Of them. Highly recommend Dr. Taylor and her team.
We saw Dr Taylor for our embryo transfer. This was the first time meeting her. Entering the room, she did not even introduce herself. Told us they are going to transfer 2 embryos and that we need to sign the consent form. I feel disappointed that the grading of our embryos were not discussed, or the reason why 2 were transferred. We left Olive disappointed, but purely due to a lack of information. The staff was great, but hopefully I never have to see Dr Taylor again.
Dr. Beth Taylor at Olive Fertility is very good and it is reflected in the service and care she provides to her patients.
Dr. Taylor is intelligent and knowledgable about fertility. She has a bedside manner that is superior to most OOther Doctors I have seen. The whole staff of Re's, nurses, front desk and lab people at Olive fertility have treated us better then anywhere else. As a same sex couple trying to get pregnant through IVF we were concerned we would face discrimination and this was not the case. Yes she is busy but she never left our concerns unanswered. The fact that she is willing to answer patient emails prove she is going above and beyond. Most Dr.'s require and appt so they can get their $$$. I shave recommended her to several of my friends and will continue to do so.
Dr. Taylor provided virtually no follow-up over the course of roughly 6-months of treatment. Everything was done either via email or phone, which made the interaction very unpersonal. It was difficult to get in touch with her. Her staff kept saying "email her" - she sometimes responded, but usually with a long delay, did not respond at all, and whenever we attempted to call, she would either not take our call (despite us having scheduled a phone appointment with her secretary) and called back at unpredictable times. The care provided was inconsistent (her staff were poorly informed of treatment recommendations and sometimes rule), and her recommendations were inconsistent with that of her fellow physicians covering for her. We felt reduced to a hormone value and a follicle count. Overall our experience was terrible.
