Ratings for Dr. J. Anthony Trott
Dr. Trott is not a board certified dermatologist. I got some botox from him and I believe that it was expired. I had heard of him doing this before. He wants to act like he is a plastic surgeon/dermatologist, but he isn't either one! I heard him tell a woman that he does mini face lifts. The office is in a mess and is dirty. He keeps you waiting forever. If there is a pretty female in there, you will be waiting your turn forever. He flirts a lot with the clients and his staff. So unprofessional!
Dr. Trott is NOT board certified in dermatology. I really don't know if he knows what he is doing. His staff changes on a regular basis and he can't the good staff to stay. The office is a mess, no regular cleaning, as it appears. I though he had it together a year ago, but then there was another turnover. He has an incompetent and rude medical assistant that he flirts with. He can't get his billing straight, I will seek another "real" dermatologist.
He is NOT board certified. He almost always feels a women's lymph nodes in the groin and axillary area (which mean he's checking out near your breasts and near your private area. You are there to have a mole removed and he does this. He gives his reasons, but he does not do this to men. He can't keep staff and has lost his reputation, not that he had much of one.
Before considering this physician I did thorough research and found that there is negative information against him through the Florida Department of Health for inappropriate contact with patients. Please beware and look elsewhere for a physician. Also, reading previous reviews posted on various other sites I read that he claims to be a Harvard graduate, which is not true (which can be independently verified) adding fodder to his lack of integrity and character that others have posted. I highly recommend you contact the Florida Department of Health Investigative Services for further information. Please consider another physician.
Well, he was the pits! Made an appointment to have a few things frozen off. Told the nurse this on the phone. I show up for my appointment... Waited an hour. Finally I got in and was examined. Then I was told I'd have to come back to get it taken off... He said it was because of the insurance. I called and Blue Cross said it was a ploy to get another fee for an office visit. That's smarmy!
Biggest problem was the cleanliness of the office. My exam room had some sort of substance that had ran down the wall and towel dispenser. Corners of the room had accumulated dirt and grime. The second thing was the 70 minutes before I saw the doctor. Will not go back.
NOT BOARD CERTIFIED IN DERMATOLOGY! FRAUD!! Don't put yourself out there as an expert in the field and take people's money when you are not. Internal medicine is NOT the same thing. The specialty requires 3 years of dermatology residency and then an examination by the American Board of Dermatology. Stop pretending to be a dermatologist and tell people the truth.
He claims that he attended Harvard, but actually graduated from a poorly rated Meherry Medical School, instead. He is not board certified in the field of dermatology. He runs off his staff and insults them in front of patients. He spends excessive time telling jokes, while elderly people are left to wait. It's not funny to watch. Most of his clients don't care for him and acts like a male chauvinist.
