Ratings for Dr. Sachin Chitte
Dr Chitte performed my breast reduction a few months ago. He was very professional, extremely kind and courteous and I’m very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. Chi to as he is a highly skilled surgeon and a very nice doctor. Thank you Dr Chitte!
I had several problems with my reconstruction after my double mastectomy. This was in 2010 and so maybe Dr. Chitte has more experience now. One of my expanders failed and had to be removed and the process started all over again. This involves surgery, so they removed the failed expander and started again, then a few months later, the other expander failed and need to be removed and the process started over. After a lumpectomy, double mastecomy and 2 failed expanders, I was done. I thought they would be able to give me a good result with the expansion that had been performed to date, and was not prepared to keep on going with the risk of these expanders failing. I'm not sure if they failed due to manufacturing problems or from Dr. Chitte puncturing them with the needle. I had the expanders removed and Dr. Chitte put in my implants, they were very disappointing, as they are extremely small and not proportioned to my body. I have had to wear prosthetics. My family Dr. has been ordering ultrasounds of my breast area to be sure all is well and now we've determined that both implants have ruptured and need to be removed. I think implants as a whole are a bad idea and after all the surgeries I've had to go through, have decided to forgo implants. One incident that sticks in my mind was when Dr. Chitte dropped a bandage on the floor and was going to put it on my chest which was healing from surgery. When I told him not to, he said the bandage had an antibacterial on it. I had to insist he get a new one. scary.
Words cannot explain how thankful I am Dr Chitte did an amazing job I had a bilateral breast reduction went from 34ddd and now 34c but still in healing mode so I could be 34d. It’s amazing how one person change your life. I woke up after surgery and the back pain was gone The pain I suffered for over 5 years was to much I found him had the surgery and I wake up every morning with a smile on my face. I don’t need to wear 2 shirts. I can fit in a small or sometime xs shirt I wear a medium bathingsuit too I can wear open back dressed it’s life changing and there will never be enough words to say how thankful I am. He truly is an amazing person. In the office and in hospital his bedside manners were great.he is a wonderful person. His staff in hospital and in office are kind caring just like him. Thank you again Dr Chitte for changing my life my world. You are an amazing person with a wonderful talent. Hope you keep putting smiles on other people’s face as you have done with me And to end it the last time I had to take any Tylenol anti inflammatory or muscle relaxants was before my surgery which was july 19 2017 and it is now nov 30 2017
I had a very bad experience with this so called plastic surgeon. I had double mastectomy and he assured me that he knew what he was doing. After several attempts to fill my expanders, they were not filing up with saline. Asked him why and his answer was "I don't know". He had to take them out and start again. He knew as well that my left side was smaller as more breast tissue was taken out and he blamed the oncologist that he took muscle out. Not the case, I was made so much smaller than what I was before my cancer. I looked like a science project! I expressed how I felt and it affect my mental health and his answer was "well there isn't much more I can do". I suggested to do fat graphing and he said that they did not have the equipment so I had to wait. He assured me that I was a priority and then he moved to a private clinic called the Ottawa clinic where they perform Botox, breast augmentation (which they can charge more to the patient than what a breast cancer reconstruction from ohip). So I kept on getting bumped and bumped for at least 1 year. I was tired of fighting to fix my problem so I decided to take a break (as it was affecting my mental health as he made me feel so bad for asking). A year went by so and my mental state was getting better so I decided to start again only to find out when I called the Ottawa clinic that I required another referral. I couldn't believe that they would ask for another referral from my doctor when I was a patient of theirs. So, I did get a referral and they never called me for an appointment. I then was able to find a great plastic surgeon at the Civic Campus and was so relieved that she knew what she was doing.
I went for a breast reduction surgery a while ago and one breast look good and done well and the other look done by an amature. There was so much complication there is a hole under the breast and became infected and stitching was completely a mess. Very disappointed.
My wife did ear pinning with doctor chitte 6 months ago! Recovery process was very slow and very painful unlike what she was told. She had two C-sections and for her ear pinning process was way more painful. The disolvesble stitches are still there after 6 months! Ear went back to how it was before surgery! Very disappointing and very expensive! She was told to come back for a re-do! Are you kidding me! I let my wife again to do the surgery again with YOU???? Never!!!!!
I travelled to Ottawa from the southern US for treatment of advanced Dupuytren's Contracture in both hands. Over the course of 6 months I had numerous treatments: Dr. Chitte performed surgery on my right hand and injected my left hand with Xiaflex twice. Without fail, he exhibited the highest degree of professionalism, while maintaining warmth and compassion. Though he considered my condition to be an "aggressive case", he went above and beyond, pursuing all avenues available to ensure the best possible outcome. I am very pleased with how well my hands responded to the treatment. Dr. Chitte inspires confidence at every level, and I recommend him without reservation, both as a competent surgeon and a responsive person. Additional kudos to the tremendous staff at The Ottawa Clinic.
