She retired without anyone taking clients. Who does that?

Her staff have lost blood test results and requisitions. When you're dealing with a serious illness this is unacceptable. She failed to communicate to me why I was being sent to a specialist (I thought it was a referral, but it was for an assessment only). The result was the College of Physicians getting involved. Dr. Vetch needs to seriously consider how poor communication is hampering her ability to help people and is often hurting people's lives. I think she also stopped learning as soon as she graduated and basically just dishes out the lasted pharmaceutical samples sent in the mail. Big time disappointment.

The staff are sometimes vague or abrupt, but Dr. Vetch is always very attentive and helpful. I have been seeing her for >20 years, and appreciate that she does not immediately prescribe medication for every symptom, nor insist on a full physical exam unless it is requested. What she doesn't immediately know, she looks up. She likes to work early in the morning, and that is the best time to book an appointment if you want to ensure no waiting.

In 2008 Dr. Vetch took my blood pressure after pressing on my ribs and chest to see if any bones had been broken in a recent car accident (they were). After this painful experience, my bp was very high, as could have been predicted. Nevertheless, instead of retesting under more normal conditions, Dr. Vetch prescribed bp medication that could have had serious consequences because my usual bp is quite low, about 60/120. I did not fill the prescription and moved to another doctor. Today Dr. Vetch's office called about a "pre-surgery exam" - they gave my correct name and address, but apparently had mixed up my five-year-old file with that of a current patient.

Dr Vetch is absolutely the best Dr ever! Thank god I met her. Excellent diagnostic skills- open minded- she admits when she doesn't know things and she is funny and charming. Only thing is her specialist recommendations tend to be terrible- probably because she's trying to get her patients in in a timely manner- but it's best to research your own specialists. Dr Vetch is the best.
