DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU LOVE GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He is incompetent, does not care about his patients. There is not enough room here of examples I could give as to why you should not see him. My mother went to him for years complaining of leg cramps and he kept telling her it was a vitamin deficiency and when it got so bad i took her to the hospital and she was diagnosed with PAD.

Dr. Lovell put her on an antibiotic two weeks later the symptoms of mental confusion, extreme pain and unable to walk. The nursing home called Lovell and he put her on a second antibiotic without coming and seeing her. Two days later the nursing home decided she is much worse and after contacting her family she was taken by ambulance to a hospital. Emergency doctor determined her condition was caused by extreme low sodium of 110. Sodium range is between 135 to 145. After 48 hours Dr. discharged her back to the nursing home with a sodium level of only 124. On that third day back she still couldn’t walk and mental confusion was still a problem. He is liked by seniors because he will agree to what the seniors wants even if that's not in the best interest of the patient. My mother is strong willed and refuses to change doctors so the family’s hands are tied to help her. Up to this time he refuses to commutate or corporates with the family so all information has to come from elsewhere.

He treated my mom for sciatica--her hip was broken. He sent her to physical therapy where the therapist told him that mom needed an X-ray. He waited two weeks so my mom was walking on a broken hip. Because she is on prednisone, which he knows about because he and his heart surgeon buddy screwed up her heart value so it shreds red blood cells, her bones are 'softening'. 6 months later, her other hip starts hurting. His diagnosis, sciatica again--he was wrong--her other hip was broken. This time we had to force him to have her admitted to a hospital and X-rayed. The guy is a jackass. Do not allow anyone you love to do to him.
