Great surgeon. Nice, personable doctor. Very attentive and always ask me if I had any questions for him after a consultation.

I have been a diabetic on insulin for over 30 years and recently it was discovered by Bridgewater hospital that I have a significant blockage in my left leg around the knee area and a small blackage in the right leg. I was referred to Dr. Ben Heisler by my family doctor (Dr. Kory Jollymore). I saw Dr heisler on Aug 4,2011 at the Fisherman's Memorial Hospital. He was very very rude. He actually insinuated that this blockage, and probably everything else was really my fault. I am 65 years of age have been a diabetic as I said for a very long time and have a lot of complications unforunately. He made me feel terrible. I am about 20 to 25 pounds overweight and getting quite immobile with the leg pain I suffer. I have told my family doctor and he has apologized on behalf of Dr Heisler. I will not be seeing this man again but I think he should not be allowed to treat others in such a manner. His attitude was awful. I have run out of space but could say more
