I have had several sessions with Dr. Blake. She is very easy to talk to and has helped me put things into perspective. She communicates her ideas very effectively and makes sure that you understand what it is she is trying to tell you. The tools and concepts that she provides have been very helpful indeed. The time I have spent in sessions with her has been very productive. Highly recommended!

Horrible. I don't understand how she is highly rated. She is not sensitive to issues at all. I had to switch and seek another counsellor to deal with how horrible our sessions were.

Dr. Blake was able to provide the guidance and support during a very difficult and challenging period in my life. She has a unique sense of making one feel comfortable/safe, while at the same time opening your heart and mind to accepting and constructively moving forward. Dr. Blake encourages self-realization and learning to be kind to one-self. She helps one see that things are never as bad as we think they are, and that avoidance is never the answer. As for time and appointments, she is very professional and flexible when it comes to making time for her patients; there were never any issues when booking or re-scheduling appointments. Thank you Dr. Blake! You are a very warm, kind, empathetic soul, and most importantly a wonderful healer; I feel very blessed to have crossed paths with you.

I appreciated Dr Blake's warm, empathic, and gentle approach. At a very difficult time, she never pushed too hard, but honoured my pace, while at the same time nudging me towards new insights about myself. She offered acceptance, validation of what I was experiencing, and an alternate perspective. She drew from different areas of psychology, although her primary orientation is acceptance and commitment therapy. Dr Blake truly seems to care about your therapeutic experience and openly solicits and discusses any feedback you may have, adapting her approach accordingly. Logistically, the process of booking appointments, reminders, etc is efficient and very professional. I was able to get in to see her within a week of contacting the office and she was very flexible with scheduling/scheduling changes. Thank you Emily, it was a pleasure, despite being in the midst of some unpleasurable personal circumstances.
