On two separate occasions and two separate situations, Dr. Wright failed me. I had an ear situation and I had been using over the counter ear drops to clear my ear canal, but they were doing no good. I made an appt and she was training a nurse practitioner. This nurse practitioner cleared my canal the best she could, but I was still unable to hear. Then I asked what I should do because I was very concerned at that point. She told me to take allergy meds and it should clear up. Then she referred me to an ENT facility, which couldn't get me in for 3 weeks. I knew that allergy meds & the ENT were not the solution and after 2 weeks of no hearing in my ear, I went to the emergency room. The ER Doc came in and looked in my ear and said he could not clearly see my eardrum. So he irrigated my ear and my hearing instantly came back. His response was, I know Dr Wright and she knows better. He went on to say, she should have at least looked for your eardrum and she would have saved you a trip to the ER because she would have known what to do at that point. The 2nd situation is most recent and I had some blood drawn on a Monday and wasn't given the results until a week later. The nurse who contacted me seemed to not know what was going on and asked if I wanted to make an appointment to come in. By this time I had already spoken with and scheduled an appointment with another facility because of their lack of communication with me as a patient. Dr. Wright was highly recommended by people I trust. But as for me, I will not recommend her to anyone because of my experiences with her.

I used to go to doctor Wright as our family doctor. As I got older I decided to pick another doctor because she treats you like a test dummy and always "thinks" that you have "this" and was wrong several times causing me to be placed in the hospital. Tonight I called American health's emergency line because I thought I was going to need to go to the hospital. I had a really bad rash that was causing pain and discomfort (Swelling red bumps all over and what I felt was my throat closing or become itchy inside and out) and I was almost sure it was poison ivy and I was having an allergic reaction. I took medicine after calling and fell asleep with hopes that she would call in the 30 minutes promised by the on call operator and I was not. Three hours later when I woke up in pain I called them again. Dr. Wright finally called back all to tell me that this was an emergency line and little red bumps wasn't an emergency. I don't recommend putting your life in her hands. This is one case of many
