Ratings for Dr. G. William Woods
G. Willaim Woods performed 4 surgeries starting in 1988.....too bad the Fondren Orthopaedic Group destroyed all the records due to laws and don't keep records due to policies and procedures. WTH? The last procedure was in 2007 when Dr. Woods was 80 years old. Luckily he kept notes, too bad they were way off. He only wrote down two ACL reconstructions, rather than the three. The most unfortunate happening was that Dr. Woods performed my procedure. At the time at Brazoswood High School, he was considered the best. Gee, guess the best isn't much back then. Can't keep a record or perform. My knee needs to be replaced. Thanks so much! That's called sarcasim. I am now Forty-six years old and knee isn't even worth that of a 90 year-old.
A couple of months ago, I dislocated my kneecap when working out and had to go to elite care for emergency treatment. They recommended Fondren Orthopedic Group, so I chose Dr. Woods since his specialty is knee issues. Worst mistake ever. 2 months later, I am still having issues with walking and daily activities (stairs, forget it!) He did not recommend physical therapy, but to do the stationary bike, which is fine to achieve 90 degree flexion, but I can not extend my leg beyond that because I still do not have a full range of motion. His bedside manner is terrible (he had waiting in the exam room with no apology whatever, he yells at his patients, he never went over my X-rays). I am done with his lack of professionalism and knowledge to go to the Bone and Joint Clinic!
