I had the worst 5 months of my "pain Magement life" here at this office! not only were they're focused on peeing in a cup than on any clinical information - that for example i spent an entire appointment going over the DATE ON MY YEAR OLD PRESCRIPTION 4/4/14 that he couldn't find on my CRS report- i got so flustered that until i got hoe i didn't realize that the 4/14/15 date wasn't a fill date it was discard date which is why it didn't show up- maybe he's a good man a good dr- but he was so focused on this print out that's print was so small you'd need progressive lenses to see it but either way thats his focus- numbers dates reports and lab results- not LISTENING TO tHE Patient I have been stable in pain gone through 2 major neck reconstrcutive surgeries with Dr Scott Martin for 6 years and in 6 months this dr has deteriorated me back to a baseline pain that i am in kauai and thinking of coming back because i can't manage my pain- oh and i forgot to mention i was in a fire with 3rd degree burns on y back and he didn't even bother to look at them treat them ask if i needed anything - oh i could go on and on DO NOT GO TO HIM unless you speak farsi

Dr. Rafizad is super intelligent and he actually listens to one when one speaks. He actually takes time with patients. I do not have a vast experience with pain specialists however I had two that I left one was seeing way too many patients had about five minutes for each, did not listen at all or listened then blew me off. The other was nice but had no idea what was going on from one visit to the next and gave out way too many meds as a solution to everything. I have been with Dr. Rafizad only a couple months and I am sure he has the correct diagnosis and treatment, solutions to my various pain issues. I would reccomend Dr Rafizad highly to anyone with a pain issue. Looking back I should have looked around for a doctor like this from the start. This is a first rate doctor. If anyone feels their doctor is not listening to them, you will not find you have that issue in this office. Also, no long wait times or problems getting appointments.
