Ratings for Dr. Andrea J. Casher
Horrific! Left there hysterical. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her. I was there on a referral for autism assessment/evaluation. She flat out REFUSED to allow me to even take the assessment. Said I was not on the spectrum because "you are female and too well-spoken" that after a 10 minute introduction! It was not only an insult to me, but to autistics in general. FYI Dr. Casher, I was given a full assessment and diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum. She came off rude, arrogant and with zero bedside manner. She should have given me a formal apology for the heck I went through that day. Truly unprofessional and as cold as ICE. Stay away, look around for someone with more compassion. Trust me.
She was only with me for less than half an hour. Unprofessionally insinuated that I wake up late. She also asked prying questions that felt judgemental. I did not feel comfortable with her. Fortunately, I spent most of my time with a psychology intern. The intern seemed more knowledgeable than she did. He was also much more professional. Cooper should hire him instead.
She did not meet with me for more than half an hour. She had her assistant do the majority of the work. I am not sure how she can look at herself in the mirror sleep at night signing off on work/diagnoses she did not do and does not specialize in; while playing with the livelihoods of the unlucky people who must go to her. May god bless her soul and anyone who she poorly effects...
