Ratings for Dr. Enoch C. Chan
Found Dr Chan to be among the worst doctors I have ever seen. First, the money issue: cash or debit card. He spent two to three minutes with me, decided how he would treat me, then allowed no participation/questions from me. He was cold and impersonal. I stopped seeing him after 3 visits.
I have been to several doctors, and have found Dr. Chan to be the most careless, inconsiderate and actually lacking overall knowledge of addiction. He and his staff really only seem to care about money and have actually been rude and disreapectful to my family and I. My son wanted to come off medication (suboxone) and Dr. Chan continued to push it. Why? To make money. He continued prescribing even though my son was using other medications/substances that were in fact lethal when combined with suboxone. Please re-consider when going to this doctor
I have been Dr. Chan's patient for 10 years to date. Have found him to be very knowledgeable in helping me treat and manage my poor health. His choice of staff has changed over the years, but have always treated me respectfully from the moment i speak to them on the phone until i see Dr. Chan. Even my last minute medical emergencies have been treated in a timely manner even through he has a busy medical practice with a waiting room full of patients.
Don't forget your payment, or they wont even talk to you. They take only CASH or Visa/MC. NO Checks No Amex! After going to this Dr. Chan for a few months I though he was a fine Doctor, but was refused a visit for a prescription refill because I only had a check to pay co-pay with. Assistant treated me like a second class citizen, because I didn't know the "No Check" policy. I felt very belittled and had to cancel the appointment. I tried to explain that I was on a break from work did not have time to go to the ATM and get money. I was simple there to get a prescription filled before as I was going away for a few days. They really didn’t care at all. So although I think DR. Chan may be a fine DR. his staff and his policies leave a lot to be desired
