First off I disagree ..I've been seeing Dr lesser for almost three years ..this is my first pain management doctor I've ever been to due to a wreck that wasn't my fault I had hurt my back ..He actually cares ..He listens to me ..He doesn't just write pain killers to anyone just because your paying him like other doctors ..He won't give me anything stronger then Percocet and also he made me quit smoking if I wanted to continue medicine and he also made me try the injections twice before I just said no I want my meds !!He gives me lectures on how to do different things to help my body heal and he listens to what I am doing in life not because I tell but because he asks and he gets pretty in depth about my lifestyle and my goals and needs ..He writes me medicine because I have a REAL injury BUT he doesn't like to because he says its wrong to be hooked on pain meds and be on them for a long period of time which I have been..he is weening me off atm and he laughs and jokes and had a great sense of humor ..the thing about people I've seen before in his office is the ones who fail their drug test or go in there demanding pain meds and he's an extremely smart man it's not easy to lie or manipulate him whatsoever .so when he feels like you are lying and you can't pass a drug test he is a good doctor he doesn't care you paid 380$ to see him he's not a pill mill and I like that about him ..I've met his son he's a great dad and it takes forever to get through an appointment be jade of the very act that he actually does his job right and wants to find out who needs narcotics and who doesn't ..I don't lie to him I tell him the truth and he responds better to that then a lie ..!! He's a great doctor and I wouldn't leave him for nothing ..also his staff is AMAZING he has the best secretary and he's about helping the ones that are REALLY INJURED NOT LOOKING TO GET HIGH and he can pick the ones that are full of it !!i love his confidence yes he's cocky but in a good way not a bad one ..maybe you need to understand where pain management doctors come from and what's a stake with them. .id rather one who doesn't want my money just to write me whatever ..I've seen him turn people down and they got pretty irate ..o well yes the first time I saw him I thought he was a little cocky but after he decides what your are really there for ..he'll turn out to be the doctor you want or the doctor you won't go back to for free ..I guess I'm a straight up kinda no bs person and I get him because we are the same kind of people :) ******* 10 stars for lesser

Not the Dr Lesser we all once knew on St. Claude in New Orleans. This man is full of himself and has a terrible bedside manner going as far as telling patients they look like freaks among other names. Acts like he has NEVER made a mistake in his life.Terrible bedside manner, sarcastic and actually could not care less about you or your problem. However, if you dont have insurance and want to spend $360.00 every time you go, God be with you. All I was looking for was the sweet man who understood and was caring about his patients illnesses and/or injuries, like he used to be. My spouse and I saw him for nearly 6 years, he was very caring, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He once did injections on my spouses back, after I begged him not to because the shots numb and my spouse needs a barrier so to speak so there will be no further injuries. Well there were further injuries, because my spouse couldn't feel the limitation that the body sends out. Lesser is just that, LESSER!
