After 5 months of pain in my neck and lower back, and no relief from massage, I finally tried chiro. It had worked for my husband's neck pain a few years back, and after only a month of seeing Dr. Ali, the pain has been significantly reduced. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the hours are perfect for me to pop in before work. I loved the educational visit where I learned how to read my X-ray, and look forward to continued improvement with my pain, posture and overall health. I would highly recommend Dr. Ali.

I started seeing Dr. Ali after a couple of months of horrible back pain that just wasn't getting better. I had visited a physiotherapist initially but the exercises I was given didn't seem to do much (and I was in too much pain to do them most days, not really being able to sit, never mind do stretches on the floor and then get back up again). Having known Dr. Ali in the community (he used to host free public educational health film screenings at the venue I coordinate rentals for), he came to mind when I decided (reluctantly, out of fear*) to try chiro. Dr. Ali did an initial assessment, took x-rays, and recommended a treatment plan to help both with my immediate back issue and also steps towards long term preventative care. *I was reluctant to try chiro but once I realized it just like when you crack you knuckles or any other part of your body on occasion it wasn't that scary after all (I only include this comment for others who are considering chiro and may be fearful of it!). I am still going through my initial round of treatments as I write this review, but so far I feel much better: my initial excruciating back pain is gone, my posture is getting better, and Dr. Ali is taking time to work out the final area that is still bugging me (which my regular doctor assessed as likely a sciatic nerve issue and recommended continuing chiro & getting a new set of phsyio exercises). It is worth noting that the set up of this office is quite brilliant, I wish more doctors could follow this approach: you sign in upon arrival (with card or key fob), wait in the waiting area (always with educational health films playing -which you can rent for free if you want), and when your turn comes up your name is called in the overhead system, you do a final log in at the table (which brings up your x-rays & details on a screen) then lie down. When Dr. Ali finishes with his prior client he comes to you and gets right to work. The adjustment is usually done within a few minutes. I appreciate this system because if you are running late or arriving early you can get in and out in order of arrival and not wasting time waiting for the doctor or feeling guilty if traffic is really bad - what a concept! Most days during my visit times there are a few people in line ahead of me and a more people coming in as I leave, usually I am in and out within 15 to 20 minutes. Anyway, very friendly and responsive staff, great office set up, great service from Dr. Ali who will take time to give tips and hints if you have questions on how to help your treatment further (ie: if you sit at a computer most days like me!) and is very responsive if you have comments or requests or questions about your treatment. I definitely recommend others to try out this office if you are considering chiro as Dr. Ali does take a more holistic approach and aims to provide useful health information beyond just making adjustments. As a side comment, yes, it may be considered pricey to go through a round of chiro (at any office, I think they charge close to the same price at each office for a visit), but it is an investment in your long term health and most medical plans will cover or at least a portion of it. Dr. Ali recommends a 6 month treatment plan, but you are under no obligation and can stop it if you want/need. Once you get through the initial 6 months or so you can choose to just do occasional maintenance adjustments or stop entirely. I appreciate this approach, as I loathe being tied into any sort of obligatory program. I also recommended a couple of family members try it out to work on their various health issues (and yes, both are going and getting a family discount rate and getting results too).

I started seeing Dr.Ali for my back, which was in chronic pain since I was 15. I was told I have scoliosis and the only thing to help me would be spinal surgery. I tried physio, which wasn't seeming to help when I came to Dr Ali upon my friends recomendation. Since I have been seeing him, all of my pain from 15 to now has gone and I ended up not having to have spinal surgery to fuse my spine. I would recommend him to anyone, as he is the most kind, and caring doctor I've seen. He goes above and beyond for all of his patients, and has truly changed my life!

I've been having lower back pains for the past 6 years. I tried physiotherapy and massage therapy and while it helped relieve the pain in the moment, the pain always came back. I have always been a bit hesitant to see a chiropractor but decided to try it as my back pains got worse. I've been seeing Dr. Ali for 2 months now and my back pains have improved significantly. What I like about Dr. Ali is that he teaches you about your spine and health and how you can improve your life for the better. His staff and customer service is excellent and I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Ali is truly a forward thinking and holistically minded doctor. He took the time to listen to where I was at, spends time educating his clients and presented the options without pushing the sale. Most importantly, he takes a holistic approach by providing resources for healthy diet changes as well as spiritual and mental well being. If you're seeking a positive healing experience, this is it.

Great, if not the BEST chiropractor I know of. For people saying his place is a 'cult' or a 'money grab' are just completely ignorant and are looking for a quick fix in life. If you want results, go see Dr. Ali. He's actually creating a local community of people who are keen on improving their health, and he's got the best advice hands down out of any doctor in town. Dr. Ali is nothing but generous and is even known to adjust people who can't even afford his services, so he's definitley not a money grabber like some people who don't want to drive to see him just say as a cop-out. His chiropractic program is set up in a way that actually improves/corrects your spinal posture for a lifetime, which is why he has you coming to see him weekly for the first month or so. Great doctor, highy reccomend.

I've been seeing Dr. Ali for over 2 years. Originally for my neck and back pain and 8 months ago I found out I was pregnant and have been seeing Dr. Ali regularly twice a week during my entire pregnancy and hope to have a healthy natural birth with his help. He has great staff as well and I feel very comfortable with the atmosphere of this place... great energy for healing.
