Ratings for Dr. David Ross
I am very short, yet was very big in the chest. After years of wanting a breast reduction & lift I was finally able to do so. There was minimal discomfort, he communicated & was honest about realistic results & best approach. Wish I had done it years ago & I have no regrets at all. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr David Ross. His receptionist Allyssa is also excellent returning every phone call & providing fantastic support navigating all the paperwork.
Doctor David Ross was very professional and patient he made me feel at ease and very confident to go ahead with my procedure . I am extremely happy with the final results and I would encourage anyone thinking about having a procedure see Doctor David Ross .
I was admiring my fabulous septorhinoplasty I had done with by Dr David Ross at Sir John Monash Private Hospital in 2014. There are no words to describe how happy I have been & so amazed with the entire process - right from the day I when decided to get a consult to the recovery after the procedure. Dr David Ross is a kind and genuine professional. I felt very confident in his skills and as well as comfortable with him as a person (this procedure was a big deal to me, so having a good rapport with my surgeon was highly important).I also would like to praise all the lovely staff members at Dr David Ross rooms - Lisa and Kerry and all the girls at St John’s Monash. He works with a lovely team. I was made to feel so comfortable and ensured that everything was organised and ready to go. His team provided me with all the costs upfront and the price was reasonable for what I wanted done. This was the first time I have been in a hospital. I would like to give Sir John Monash Private a huge thumbs up. The staff and facilities were fantastic. For me, it was the nurses who really made my experience great. All the nurses I encountered were very caring, respectful and professional. I felt so comfortable and really well looked after. The follow up from his staff were amazing. If you are thinking about having a septo-rhinoplasty with Dr David Ross and his team, I would highly recommend - not only for great results but an all rounded caring and smooth experience. Thanks David.
I had breast augmentation in 2013 for my 21st birthday. What a horrible experience! The receptionist was extremely rude as well as Dr. David Ross, roughly 2 days after my surgery I had the worst two nights that I have ever experienced, I had 48 hours sleepless day/nights crying and vomiting in pain, I had my mum call and speak to the receptionist many of times in the 48hours, I couldn't sit or lift one of arms up at all whereas the other one I could - she was told that I need to toughen up and this is part of recovery... by the end of the 48 hours mum was fed up drove me to the hospital he was at and we saw him... he decides to rip my arm up above my head, wasn't gentle or caring ( at this stage I couldn't lift it at all I was sobbing in reception area due to the pain) he then grabs a scapula blade and re opens my wound ( no numbing agent ) that was torture, then he decides to express my wound - puss came out he didn't take any swabs to determine type of infection he just sent me home on cephalexin antibiotics and strong pain killers. After that I felt great because I was completely zonked out but mum was still unhappy, my arm pit was extremely red hot and swollen she took me to my local gp she had one look and sent me imeddiately to ER I was then checked over by Dr. David Ross fellow workers and they stuck a syringe in the infected area to numb while they express my wound, as soon as they took the syringe out I could see puss squirting out of the pinprick hole from the syringe.. they were worried they jumped straight on the phone to him told him I need surgery asap to flush out my implants. He was annoyed that I became his last case for the night he was trying to console my mum with doing the surgery the next day but She demanded tonight! Pre op they managed to drain 20-23ml I can't remember exactly of puss prior to the flush out in surgery. I went under the knife again not knowing whether I'll wake up with breast implants or not ( if the infection had reached the implant they would need removing) thankfully I woke up with them and his side kicks explained to me it was a hair line close and if I had waited the next day the chances of the infection touching the implant was v.high. I was hospitalised for a week on a antibiotic drip and had a drain attached to my side. After 3 years I'm still having difficulties I have to get an ultrasound and see further surgeons as I one of them (other breast) is painful and is not the same shape anymore. His arrogant rude and wipes his hands on you as soon as your plastic surgery is done. DO NOT GO THRU HIM! I have been told many of times that I should take my case further for negligence and it's something that I am looking into
Where does one start? the beginning l guess, l am 55 years old single mother of 2 boys and over the past 15 years l had lost a lot of weight over 45 kg, which left me with a lot of hanging excess skin, not only did it make me feel uncomfortable but my confidence levels were down.So l decided to go and seek professional advice from plastic surgeons , after getting 2 opinions l decided to go with Dr Ross. My first consultation with him was fantastic he explained everything to me costs, time l would be off my feet , recovery etc.. l felt very comfortable with him right from the start. I was self funded also and his costs are extremely fair and affordable. I booked in my procedure which was a Body lift. I was excited and could not wait to see the new me, the day came operation was a success and Dr Ross removed 7.6 kg of skin l was so over the moon. I am 6 weeks post op,and feeling great, l admit the first couple of weeks are the hardest, but Dr Ross was there every step of the way, if l had a concern or was worried about something he would fit you in immediately, if you sent him a text he would reply ASAP, one time he was at a conference and still found time to reply to me as he knew l was worried and had questions. Dr Ross has excellent bed side manners, he is funny caring and a wonderful surgeon. he has given me a new lease on life, l went from a size 16 to a 10 to 12 , l can go out now buy fitted dresses never could l before , l feel beautiful and it is all thanks to Dr Ross , he is a fantastic surgeon , you would not find better. How do you thank a DR that has made me smile every time l look in the mirror ? All l can say is Thank You Dr Ross . let me not forget his wonderful front desk Assistant Alicia.. what a asset to his practice, she was always so sweet caring and prompt with answers to questions. She always had time to make me feel reassured ,people like these are hard to find, so Alicia thank you to you also. So anyone who is contemplating surgery of this kind go see Dr Ross you will not be disappointed.
My name is Jane moir and I consulted Dr Ross after several years of feeling very unhappy with my appearance. I was 54 years old but felt I looked much older and haggard. A friend taught me a few make up improvements but I was still unhappy. I had jowels and saggy lower face skin and a crepey neck. I knew the situation could not be improved with any face creams or injectables. I found Dr Ross through a Google search and from there I was able to make an appointment the next week. Alyssa ,Dr Rosses receptionist was lovely ,friendly ,encouraging and made me feel optimistic. Dr Ross told me what he could do for me, demonstrating it with a mirror. He informed me of the procedure, the post operative expectations and of the rare risks. He sent me for xrays to.check my bone structure which I felt was very thorough of him and after outlining the very reasonable costs I booked myself in to Massada Hospital.I was not nervous at all, just excited about looking better. After surgery I had no pain, just bit of discomfort under my eyes as a sliver of skin had to be removed in the process. Ice packs through the night eased this and swelling and bruising was minimal. I went home the next day tightly bandaged to stop swelling. 5 days later the bandage came off and stitches out. From this point I have just blossomed. I never liked to be photographed, now my phone is full of selfies. I just can't believe it is me. I am still Jane but have flawless, tight skin. I have self esteem and confidence I thought was gone forever. Dr Ross was straightforward with me,reassuring, and the ultimate perfectionist. Any one considering surgery go and see him. He will give you a brand new life. He's my hero.
Weighing 70kgs, I was told by David that the only way I would be happy, if at all, was to have a full body lift and he could not guarantee results. I was also told that if I had a tummy tuck, I could not walk up stairs and I would need someone with me 24/7 post surgery for up to 1 month to help me get up and down. I since have had an abdominoplasty with another plastic surgeon and was up walking around that night, able to walk stairs when I left hospital and did not require any help when I got home. I am now 12 weeks post surgery and could not be happier. It pays to do your research.
I saw Dr Ross for my body lift recently and all I can say is WOW... My results are more than what I could have even imagined. Absolutely amazing surgeon and I felt so comfortable with him. His staff are so beautiful and healthful I could call them with any concerns and be met with kindness and empathy. I made the the right decision when i chose Dr Ross for my surgery and I would recommend him to anyone. It's only been 2 weeks but the scar is so flat and clean and better than I ever expected.
I saw Dr Ross after having implant elsewhere 3 years prior and having terrible results I was left with heavy, saggy breasts that were ruining my life and self esteem. Dr Ross was very honest with me about potential outcomes and limitations - to the point where I didn't follow up for 4 months later. He was realistic and didn't want to get my hopes up, saying he can only promise minimal improvement. 10 weeks after surgery I am the happiest I have ever been. My breasts are perfect. He corrected the previous implants, repositioned them under the muscle, removed excess skin and tissue giving a very improved result. Instead of wearing 2 bras I now need not wear a bra if I don't want to! Scarring is minimal, very neat and almost flat now 10 weeks later - considering the procedure went from having a lift to needing a full reconstruction (once he saw the extent of the damage done by previous surgeon). Excellent results with realistic expectations, very reasonable price and thorough follow up. Highly recommend Dr Ross to anyone.
Horrible surgeon, wait times are hours, left me deformed after breast surgery. I have had to have 4 subsequent surgeries to fix his mistakes. A very rude man who is unwilling to admit his mistakes and correct accordingly. Based on my experience please don't contemplate using this plastic surgeon for any procedure under any circumstances. Ruined my life.
