This feedback is for Dr Ziegler and not for Dr Mensiah. I wanted to change my main doctor and move to Dr Mensiah, but administration refused to do it because that would be unacceptable for Dr Z to lose a patient who gave up a trust toward a doctor after barbaric biopsy and many other resons.I was very sad that I did not have a second choice in RSC and I am sure that this young and energetic female doctor treats the patients with a companion and professionalism. I know that Dr Z is dealing with fertility authority website, that provided a wrong information about ERA test “endometrial biopsy, feels much like a pap smear and costs approximately $200… When timed one month before an IVF cycle, a woman who receives womb scratching is twice as likely to become pregnancy…” … I paid $ 2000.00 for this test and not $200.00 and that biopsy was very painful and almost costed a life to me- I was bleeding heavily with high fever….because of that unnecessary test my real frozen embryo cycle was canceled for 3 months and I was under medication with birth control pills and Lupron injections which my body handled very badly…if a failure of IVF was mechanical ( it might be a fault of embryologist for bad assisted hatching or a fault of a doctor for unskillful embryo transfer), please do not torture yourself going to such an unnecessary and dangerous procedure like a “ timing test” - I wasted a lot of time and money and end up heartbroken. ERA or timing test was medical experimentation on me- Dr Z wanted to show his strident how to perform a biopsy- that so called “scratching” was a dangerous procedure- a huge bulk of a meat/tissue was taken from inside of a cervix. I could not walk for months since agonizing pain - I paid for frozen embryo transfer $ 4.500.00 to avoid painful IVF procedures as anesthesia and meds injections but up end up with horrible ERA test – it was cruel experience.
