Ratings for Dr. Stanley J. Farnum
Dr. Farnum has been our dentist for 25 years. We could not be more pleased with the service we have received. Being confident that a dentist is honest, knowledgeable and competent is important to us. Dr. Farnum is always ready to discuss our options with our best interest in mind. We have been grateful for his thoroughness and see him as always striving for perfection. Dr. Farnum has even come in on his day off to treat a toothache
The best dentist in Tucson. Recommended highly. Crown work was perfect. And replaced my two broken front teeth(ran into a concrete wall) with color perfect and exact fit. Does his own cleanings, no mercury and no root canals. Practices good dentistry methods and explains what all options.
I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Farnum to take care of my dental needs for over 40 years . In that time he has done an exceptional job of keeping my teeth and the teeth of all of my family in the best condition possible. With his practice of mercury free dentistry and the removal of all of the old "silver" fillings, he helped me to recover from years of sinus infections and nosebleeds. He is always glad to see me and catch up on our lives, more like an old friend than just a dentist I see yearly to get my teeth cleaned. I highly recommend his practice to anyone needing quality dental care and know that they will be treated with the most up to date procedures by a caring doctor and staff.
Dr. Stanley Farnum, DDS, (6119 E Grant Rd.) may need to retire at his old age. He didn't even let the Novocain kick in before he started grinding on my teeth! I had two crowns done at full price, costing me $3300.00. You would think for that amount of money you would get quality work, right? This was some of the worst quality, and worst treatment, I have ever received. One of the crowns only fit half way onto my tooth and the other was above the gum line as well; they both had to be redone at a later date. After I went into the office to address the issue he made a list of excuses for his work. He blamed it on the way my gums healed, and the build up underneath, and "this is what most dentistry looks like" he said, and the people at the lab made them short....blah, blah, blah. I don't know if he really thought I accepted this, or not, but I most certainly did not! Regardless of his excuses, if the crowns were made that short at the lab; why would he cement them permanently onto my teeth if they didn't properly fit to begin with? Unbelievable! I would expect a "professional" dentist to send them back to the lab and have them recast. But apparently this would have been too much effort. Did he think I wouldn't notice? I don't know, but what a disappointment. I didn't only get crowns that didn't fit, but had to endure the agonizing pain of having them cut off and new ones having to be properly cemented back on. Save yourself the trouble here!
Really really like this guy. He did the cleaning himself!! He has been my dentist for the last 30 years and I have no bridges, or false teeth....Yea!!! He's the greatest...and a mercury free dentist also. My Lupis went away after my mercury fillings were removed!! Very clean, nice office and staff also!! Feel very comfortable when I'm there!
