He took a glance at it and prescribed an antifungal cream. I used the cream every day but the rash was getting worse. I went back to Dr. Patel. He prescribed a second antifungal cream. Again the welts and rash got even worse. The third time I saw him he prescribed yet a third antifungal cream! He told me that would definitely get rid of this in 2 to 3 days. It did not. It got worse. When I went into him again he ridiculed me. Since the last time I saw him, this rash had gotten so bad that it’s bleeding and incredibly painful. I went to another dermatologist and showed him all the useless creams I had been taking. He said he couldn’t understand why a doctor would continue giving me one antifungal cream after another when they weren’t working. It turns out this is not fungal it’s bacterial. My new doctor diagnosed that within a couple of minutes. I started using the antibiotic cream that he prescribed and after nine months of suffering, my rash was gone within three days. The incredible incompetence of giving me three creams that do exactly the same thing and none of them working is mind boggling. In my entire life I have never been subjected to such an incompetent doctor. When his bogus treatment didn’t work the only thing he could figure out to do was to make fun of me.\r\nMy advice to Dr. Patel is to get some more training before putting someone else through this kind of pain for nine months.
