Ratings for Dr. Willis Y. Wu
This Dr is so rude and mean. He shouldn't work with anything that has a heartbeat. Then he was sitting at the desk talking about a patient behind their back. Keep looking I found a alot better Dr
This Dr treated my husband so bad. The staff was rude to other people while we were sitting. They treat every like a drug addict. We have only been there twice. Don't go to this quack. Go to someone who at least cares. They are very cruel to patients
This doc is horrible. Ive been going to them for 2 years for medication management for chronic pian from major ortho procedure years ago. Ive alway seen the NP who has been great. He's now gone-nobody will say why so I saw Dr Wu. This visit was completely different then the past 2 years. He immediately said we are reducing your one medication. Treated me like an addict. Said if I dont want any of their invasive procedures like epidurals then I shouldnt be going there as the are not a "pill dispensary" I have never been treated like this in my life. I work hard, they get paid a lot for me to see them every month, their website states medication management, and this is how he treats people. Dont go there!!!
I have been going to the same doctor for the past three and a half years I decide to switch doctors because I wanted results not just to be fed pain medicine. I went to Dr Wu's office January 16th he told me I had arthritis in my back and two bulging discs after my initial call so he got up and walk out the room I asked him what about pain relief and he proceeded to treat me like a complete addict tell me to go see someone else I told him no that's not necessary I trust him I'll do what he says told me to come back in two weeks I came back he told me you can no longer help me because of the discussion we had on the 16th of Jan. don't get me wrong seems like a really great doctor very smart but when it comes to treating the patients as patients and not as addicts he fails in every aspect
This doctor is terriable. I have a severe case of scolosis, siatica, stenosis, vertebres deteoriating and protruding, spondolostisis, 5 deg deteriorating discs, and degenerative disc disease and arthristis. I walk with a limp and was referred by my orthopedic. The doc looked at all my mri s and was astounded and gace me some rxs for 2 wks and scheduled 3 epidurals. The epidurals did not work and the meds did not help and plus every 2 wks costs me 120 per visit. My last isit was an emergency visit bc pain so bad and as asasparaited since the epidurals. I have been on meds for over 10 yrs and I see this doc for help and make some suggestions I hace read on as far as the meds. The doc treated me like I was drug seeking and told me since u ibviously think im not hrlp u go see someone else and im going to release you and took me off my long act med and gave me w wks of anti inflammatory and a sort act med. My bp when I came in was 211 over 160 and aftervsitting it went dwn because when I move I am in severe pain. I trusted him 2 help and he treared me like a drug addict. I just want help and then he said if ur pain is so bad how do u work. I have 2 bc I have 2 children and when I saidi couldnt afford to comebthere every 2 wks he said talk to your insurance. Really? Innovative pain management and dr. Wu do not care about their patients.
Dr. Wu is actually good but he needs to man up. He let his medical opinion be over-ruled by billing staff so the practice could make more money.... at my expense. Had I gone through with it... it would be insurance fraud and malpractice. Having a bit of background in billing and health care saved me, but you might not be so lucky! Do not trust the staff if they tell you insurance is "in network" ask for the next 10 steps. Be expected to be treated like a drug addice.
I visited SANS pain clinic yesterday, and was seen by Dr. Wu. This is my 3rd pain management Doctor I have seen in the past two years (due to relocating and changes in insurance, I have had to change Doctors). I had a very positive experience at SANS. Dr. Wu took a very detailed assessment and history of my pain symptoms. He definitely was the best (of the 3 Doctors I have seen) with regard evaluating my pain/medical history. I really felt like Doctor Wu was listening to me and wanted the best for me. He has a great bedside manor. He recommended physical therapy for me, and I am getting an injection in a couple of weeks. This is the first time that a pain management Doctor really did anything for me, other than just prescribing me pain meds. Also, Ursula, who works at the front desk was super nice. She had a waiting room full of patients, and I saw her treat everyone in a kind and caring way. I definitely recommend Dr. Wu and SANS pain clinic if you are struggling with chronic pain.
