I have to agree with the first persons review. After experiencing horrible pain and numbness to left side of my face I tested positive for Lyme antibodies with my pcp. I was then referred to Chad in October 2013. My test results kept coming back negative every time. I began getting worse severe arthritic pain- memory problems speech problems-difficulty walking. After a few months and no answer I decided to get a llmd. In January 2014 I tested positive through igenex lab. I had 13+ Igm antibodies present- and 8 bands and 4 igg and antibodies present with 2 bands . Chad informed me prior to my testing through Igenex "that you have to be careful of using labs like those". By this time - now six months later I was down from 120 pounds to 108 - due to also coinfections I began having seizure like episodes and was in and out of the ER at least once a week. In February 2014 I was rushed by ambulance from work and almost went into cardiac arrest- my Lyme literate doctor- decided I needed a picc line right away. I had my pic line for two months And iv rocephin and every day. Still continuing with diet changes and meds- it is still been extremely difficult trying to get better. In July 2014 11 months after being bit by the tick- lab corp finally resulted me with a positive Lyme western blot. That's insane how many months of my health was taken from me- I will remain to struggle with Lyme disease for the rest of my life - Chad was always polite- however he failed to listen to me- and used a text book to diagnose me and at 30 years old I found more help - helping myself. I don't want to say that he isn't a great dr- BC he very well might be- drs aren't educated on lyme- that's something that will hopefully change for the sake of others being told no to lyme- when the case is very much YES! Very nice man, but misdiagnosed my.Lyme disease. I showed.him my.positive test.for bands 41 and 23 and he said it was not.Lyme disease. Now I have.developed rheumatoid arthritis. Won't be.going back any time soon. Take.my.advice, if.you.suspect.you.may have Lyme, please see a Lyme.literate doc.asap, not.infectious disease.
