Ratings for Dr. John C. Ausiello
Dr. Ausiello is known amongst his peers for being the best Endicrinologist in the City- and for good reason. He's incredibly bright (Harvard ) and incredibly well informed in his field. He spent an hour and a half with me at my first appointment- and truly listened to everything I had to say about my illness. He promised to commit to helping me find out what has been making me sick for over a year- whether it was in his specialty or not- and has been true to his word. He follows up immediately and is incredibly responsive to questions. Again- highly intelligent and caring- the two most important characteristics in a doctor ( at least in my book). He's busy- but then again the best doctors always are... Yet he spends as much time as you need in your appointment to feel comfortable. Can't recommend him enough.
The doctor is good but in my first visit told me with a harsh voice that he had way too many patients and for me to come down. I had to ask him to run tests for me, otherwise those tests would not be run. The only good thing that we agreed because of his tight schedule to communicate via email or phone. That kinda work. But it was annoying that kept reminding me that he cared for way too many patients. I always felt rushed.
