Ratings for Dr. Barbara J. Briner
I've been seeing Dr. Briner now for 3 years; she is a DO but specializes in musculoskelatal and connective tissue disorders as well as energy medicine. Technically she is a Pysiatrist; her approach to you is very in depth and is based on symptoms you explain, but what she feels. What she does may resemble chiropractic, but without the violent, pushing and jerking and twisting. She works on moving your joints to the optimum position in a way that is so very gentle, yet gives maximum results; it literally is by gentle pushes using resistance. I've never seen anything like it, but it works. My pain levels have decreased dramatically and she works on a lot of "lost cause" patients where traditional methods haven't worked. She is in high demand, so you may have to wait for a new patient appt.; you do not need a referral, she does not accept insurance, but will provide you with the documentation so that you can file. If you have BCBS get an out of network non participating referral.
