Disappointed. I've been here twice now and had similar experiences both times. The staff the first time scheduled my appointment and told me to come 15 minutes early for paperwork. Apparently 15 minutes early was lunch time. They ignored me and then gave me attitude when I tapped on the glass. I left work early to arrive at the time they said. The second time the staff wasn't rude but not pleasant. Both times I was taken in late. Then once I finally got in there for my appointment I paid $50 for and waited a month for, he spent about 2 minutes with me both times. Literally had his hand on the doorknob while talking to me. If that doesn't make you feel unimportant not sure what would. I tried to get him to feel an area on my ear and he quickly was like yeah yeah I feel it (he wasn't on the right spot). Felt extremely rushed and not listened to. Total waste of my time and money. Now I'm still left wondering if something more serious is wrong. Will not go back.
Very disappointed with Dr Burchard. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. Did not look in my ears nose or throat for sinus congestion problem i was having. As soon as I mentioned balance problems he just wanted to send me to another area for that. He seemed to be in a real hurry to send me to another person rather than hear what else i had to say. Slow down slippery you have a long way to slide
I had a great experience with Dr. Burchard. He took the time to discuss with me all of the in's and out's of Botox and what I needed in a very professional manner. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process even tough I am somewhat of a baby when it comes to needles. He put me at ease and has a great sense of humor. If you are looking for Botox- he is the guy to go to. He is double board certified in Plastics and Ear Nose and Throat.
I had such a great experience with Dr. Burchard! He is such a kind, considerate, & patient doctor - one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I had surgery last week & through the whole ordeal he made me feel so comfortable & calm about everything. He completely put my mind at ease & I immediately felt that I was able to trust him. I was very nervous at first about having surgery & he was so patient with me about having questions & answered every one of them without making me feel dumb or like I was being rushed. After meeting with him the first time, I had absolutely no doubts. The results have come out beautifully & I couldn't be happier! I will definitely refer his name to anyone looking for an ENT. It's so great to find a doctor who not only cares about you & is willing to qualm your concerns that way, but also feels like a caring friend. He has a great sense of humor about things. I felt as though he took the journey with me, & I am so glad to have met him :)
Dr Burchard is by far the most wonderful Dr i have seen. He is very caring and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a ENT or Facial plastic surgeon. I saw him in Sarasota, Fl when he was still located here. Sad to of seen him leave.If you are in Providence, R.I and need a ENT , go see him!
I wanted to give my feed back on this remarkable Individual-Dr. Andrew Burchard. You could not ask for a kinder, respectful, professional & knowledegable "Doctor" Dr. Andrew Burchard is a remarkable man who cares deeply about his work and about his patients. This is an update to a previous post with an insurance issue with the doctor's office. I was very upset because the doctor's office submitted a lab specimen without checking which insurance the lab took. After alot of follow up with the office manager and the lab, the lab resubmitted it and the bill was taken care of in its entirety. While I stand by my original opinion that a doctor's practice should take care to see what insurance the patient has when submitting specimens, I will tell you that the practice worked with me until it was taken care of to in its entirety. I wasn't able to remove the prior post, but it is only fair to update it and let you know it was resolved. I commend the practice for handling this with me until the end.
This doctor's office was in our insurance network but didn't bother to check which lab they were sending a specimen to. Which resulted in a $300.00 bill from some lab for a 19 yr old college student. The office didn't care, nor did the doctor. They said they don't have the time to check which lab is covered by patient's insurance. (which they could have done in five minutes or less on line) The same way they wouild see what treatments are covered. The office manager said the doctor decides which lab to send things to for "reasons only the doctor knows" and not even patients understand their policies enough to know what labs are used. I just can't believe that you go to a doctor's practice that is in your network and they can't be bothered to make sure a simple thing is being sent to the correct facility. Won't go back there, nor will I recommend them to anyone. If they don't care about insurance, they won't care about their patient care as well. Bad experience there!
