Abrupt, cold, unfriendly. Dr. Palkovacs seemed competent, but a bit hostile.

Dr. Palkovacs refused to refer me to a specialist despite being unable to provide a diagnosis or management options for my neurologic eye deficit suffered after a collision accident that left me with multiple fractures and a third cranial nerve detachment. Her exact words were, "Getting another opinion won't help your eye to get better, and in my opinion it never will." Not exactly kindness or healing words. Even with a poor diagnosis patients should be treated with respect and kindness. It was an added insult that she actively blocked my referral out of her medical group so that I could not be seen by a more adept physician. You should be ashamed of bringing such negativity and arrogance into your profession. Ashamed.
