Ratings for Dr. Charles L. Crist
I was misdiagnosed for 8 years, Dr.Crist was the first doctor to let me know that 1) I wasn't crazy 2) I was treatable 3) it is long tough road to recovering and getting Lyme into remission, but that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Godly man!
After being misdiagnosed and mismanaged for 22 years , I had nearly given up hope of identifying my underlying disease. Dr. Crist discovered that I had borreliosis and provided a treatment plan to address my individual symptoms. Hope and healing has arrived. I highly recommend this compassionate and knowledgeable physician. He is a lifesaver.
Dr. Crist is a life-saver. To me, there is no other way to put it. This man is the most caring, intelligent, and meticulous physician I have ever dealt with. He listens, he asks detailed questions, and he treats you with respect and empathy. I have seen him for around 2 years now. Though I waited 5 mos to get into see him, had I not (and went a different direction), I do not know where I would be today. In the fall of 2013, I was nearly bed-ridden - severe neurological issues, high fevers, holding ice packs on my head 4-5 hours per day. When other physicians wanted to "refer me on" or start me on MS medication, Dr. Crist had a completely open mind and FAITH in my healing process. I am 80% better with months to go in my treatment, but I thank god for this physician EVERY day. For any lyme sufferers who have any questions that I could help them with, please feel free to email me at email@example.com. I thank God every day for this man. - KGC
This is doctor is just amazing. I have never met a doctor like him. After going to four doctors in New Jersey and no-one could diagnose if it was Lyme Disease or not.......Dr. Charles Crist was able to make an immediate diagnosis as "New England Lyme Disease" based on the Western Blot Test (from Igenix Labs) that I had brought with me. This doctor is 'off the charts" good. I am so thankful to God that I found him when I did a google search for the best Lyme doctor in the United States. Now I know why he came up this way on google. The staff is also just so helpful and polite. Don't waste your time going to anyone else but Dr. Crist for answers. It was worth driving every mile from New Jersey to Missouri to see this doctor.........the problem is you have to wait about 6-7 months to see him. Praise God for the cancellation that got me in to see him a few months earlier.......otherwise I do not think I would have made it!
Dr Crist is the first doctor I've been to that really cares to know all the things going on with me. My neurologist cared about my seizures, my primary wanted to treat anxiety, and my gyno would only talk hormones. Dr Crist understands that all of these pieces are related and treating individual symptoms but not the source won't get you anywhere. I have a long recovery ahead, but with Dr Crist I know I'm on the right path.
For Wasted a 3 day on trip and thousands of dollars. Don't think Dr Crist understood my specific concerns and problems. I don't think Dr crist will help me. I did not come away with a good feeling. I went to him as General MD doctor for help with Severe skin allergies, and for compounding prescriptiing for simple things like a anthistime because i have allergies to so many things in regular medicines. He wouldn't write me the prescriptions I needed, but he diagnoised me with Tick illness, I question because test was negative. I needed a a good speciality doctor for all my issues, being.a MD, I thought he would be the one to help with my specific needs. He did not help me with my health issues and concerns. I left very confused and his explanations and was sent home with medicines, I don't think I can tolerate, without supervision, didn't make any sense to me, and the concerns I went for were not addressed.
