He was very pleasant and was happy. He told me to watch a blotch on the back of my upper arm. My husband and I checked it quite often and it looked like it did not change. At almost a year I asked my friend who is a practitioners nurse what she thought of it and she told me it looks like melanoma. I immediately went to a different Dermatologist & it was immediately sent to a pathologist, and in fact it, was melanoma. Instead of him informing me to watch it, he should have taken a sample and sent it to a pathologist. No doctor should hesitate if they think it should be watched. Proactive is the way to go. It was not a fun time waiting for my results after almost a year.
