Ratings for Dr. Jeffrey M. Ferber
He is absolutely the best doctor I ever known. I've been his patient for about 10 years. The best point about him is that he is very honest. He tells the good side and the bad side of the situations. If he isn't sure, he tells you honestly, and calls up to the best specialists to get the best answer. That is why I love him. He always asks if I have any questions, and make sure all the questions are answered when I leave there. He doesn't just listen, he really see you eyes and listen well. He diagnosed correctly for my aunt's brain disease and saved her life while several doctors gave her the wrong medications and almost killed her. Can't say thank you enough to this doctor!
VERY Hard to get in to see him. If you have something urgent, you have almost no choice but to go the urgent care, which has TERRIBLE service. I have tried to find another primary care doctor for years, but everyone who is a PPO doctor around here has a wait list!!! What is going on? The doctor is good, but a little different--personality wise. I don't know if I would recommend him to a good friend...the office usually has some strange problem with organizing paperwork as well. He is aware of that, and does make it a point to help you with that. He is also thorough and does take the time to listen.
Dr. Ferber is GREAT! He's been my primary for over 4 years and my fiances for over 15 years. He takes his time with you and is willing to answer ANY questions you may have. If he doesn't know...then he looks it up (instead of some other doctors that I had that just tell you things so that they sound intelligent). I hate the fact that I have to drive over 30 min. to see him, but it's worth it. Also, booking appts. can be a bit difficult since he's almost always booked.
