Ratings for Dr. John G. Sparti
My doctor had to retire because of an illness 70 plus years old so it was time so I called dr. Spartis office to see if they could take on a new patient and they are agreed to see me the first visit very well then when it came time to fill my prescriptions some could be called in others had to be written I got to the pharmacy to pick up my medications and one of them was missing I went home and started going through my paperwork that comes with all medications especially new to see what the side effects would be to stop taking this medication the side effects said do not stop taking this medication all at once there were some pretty bad side effects from stop taking this medication cold turkey call the pharmacy in the pharmacist said that it was not good at all to stop taking it but that they did not get a call on a refill for it so I went and called the doctor's office and talk to someone there and they said that he probably just didn't want me taking this medication anymore and I said well that was fine but the paperwork said not to stop taking it all of the sudden I want seven days without that medication and in about three days I started having some of the side effects that the paperwork said you could have if you stopped taking it all the sudden body aches joint aches just wasn't able to get out of bed for a couple of days and one of the worst side effects this medicine could do was cause seizures I didn't have any seizures but I did pass out in my bedroom closet at one time for how long I don't know I was alone so after five days of suffering before Miss he calls me and tells me I have a prescription to pick up and I know I didn't so my husband went to pick it up and lo and behold it was the medication that he had left off of the refills originally after going through the physical side effects for five days I had my medication then when I went back for my next appointment I confronted him with that fat and even carried the paperwork with me from the pharmacy and showed it to him but he wouldn't even read it told me he did not believe me that that could happen so I asked him just give me my refills today please so he did he wrote them all called in all of them but then yesterday I got a letter after 2 weeks saying that he was dropping me from being seen and that all my medical records we're going to be sent back to my old doctor's office who is sick and not there so now I'm 2 weeks away from needing my needing my refills in my medication and I have no doctor to go to in that short a time that can do this for me so now I'm sitting here maybe will not get my medications again because he refuses to see me because I spoke to him about what my medical conditions and what I went through this doctor does not know what he's doing I wouldn't send my dog to him I was already looking for another doctor before I got the letter from him I can't get in to see one in time to get my medications on time so I may who knows die from not having all of my medications
I would not recommend this doctors office to anyone. The front desk and staff are rude and don't understand customer service. The doctor never even heard of my condition and didn't know how to treat me at all (vitamin b deficiency). The waiting area is dirty and has dog hair everywhere. My son is allergic to dust and dog dander and itched every time we went there. Don't go here unless you want to be treated like a number. I called to set up an appointment for my husband, and they told me that they were not taking any new patients, BUT I had been there before, so I asked if they could just take me off of their patient list and add my husband. The person on the other line said and I quote "heh, I don't think it works that way... hold on..." with a snarky attitude and tone, she then put me on hold, just to tell me that they could not see my husband for any reason (even though he has a heart condition). I don't plan to waste my hard earned money on a doctors office that does not care about me or my families well being. I don't think they should be able to get paid for the lousy service they give.
All of the folks who blame Dr. Sparti for you getting strung out are all idiots did you take meds he have? Of course. I see him once a month and he is great doctor I went for Suboxone I think him everyday he also checks other issues and sometime don't ask. Like cholesterol etc. also drug screens, you have to bring proof u are in AA na so all haters of him. Move on, y'all probably got kicked out for rules infractions. Alright. James Tolley
I was a first time patient to Dr. Sparti, today. He went over my past medical records with a fine-toothed comb and was VERY thorough. He suggested some things to me that I should change in my life including medication and why what I had been taking may not work so well with my conditions. He was very knowledgeable and paid very close attention to detail in the things I explained to him. The most thorough doctor's visit I have ever experienced. I recommend Dr. Sparti to everyone. He was excellent in every way.
