Ratings for Dr. Natan Bar Chama
Didn't ask about my medical history and didn't look at any of the medical history paperwork I filled out. Didn't answer any of my questions and spent approximately 5 minutes with me. He truly seemed not to care or have any obligation to try and help me whatsoever. A complete waste of time and money.
i went to Dr. B because my initial semen sample contain no sperm. i've been under is care for 90 days getting set to invasively retrieve sperm. while success is not guaranteed and out of his hands, i will say his bedside manner has in particular been very pleasant and i feel like i am in great hands.
I have never seen a worse Dr. in my entire life. It was like he felt that actually seeing a patient for a medical procedure was a bother to his incredibly valuable time and speaking to said patient was an utter waste. If God ever needs to be portrayed as an incompetent physician this is the man for that job. Truly DO NOT SEE this Dr. and advise anyone else you can find to choose a different physician. I suppose if he had even been somewhat competent I might have forgiven his brusque obnoxious manner but he gave me what was ultimately the wrong diagnosis of my urological issues. GO ELSEWHERE!!!
After being misdiagnosed for years as hypertensive by two of Manhattan's top doctors Dr. Bar-Chama found my anxiety and raised blood pressure was actually from low testosterone levels. He helped to raise my levels high again. At 64 I feel and act 40 years younger. I have sent 3 other patients to him. They also love him. And why not- HE IS AWESOME. The BEST. Mark Weinstein
Saw Dr. Bar-Chama for a vasectomy. He personally seemed okay in the initial interview and exam. He answered questions patiently and seemed pretty knowledgeable. The actual procedure, though, wasn't all that great an experience. He and his assistant were basically silent throughout the entire thing, though I tried to engage them in conversation a few times. Frankly, it also hurt a lot more than I was expecting. He basically started cutting as soon as he had injected the anaesthetic and while I could definitely still feel it. Which I told him. To which he grunted and went back to work. I assume that it worked and was successful, which I'll confirm in a few weeks, and if it is, and there are no complications, I guess I pretty much got what I paid for. But the guy has basically no bedside manner and very little concern for pain management. He seemed like he had someplace to go from the moment he stepped in the room.
Truthfully the worst Dr. we ever saw. He was rude, unhelpful and condescending. He told my husband that he didn't need a "urologist" he needed a pain management Dr. Then he told my husband to come back to see him in 1 month!!?? He also examined my husband in a rough manner and my husband left his office in A LOT of pain. We will NEVER go back to this Dr.
I waited 1.5 hours. Natan first confused me for a reocurring patient. He came in the wrong room. Natan asked me why I was there and looked at me. Took him 1 minute to examine me. I asked what he thought he said didnt know lets do some blood and culter test. Total time there was 2 hours. I saw him for total of 3 minutes. I felt like I was bothering him and he didnt have any detail. Treated me like a child. I was late to work 1 hour. Horrble doc dont use or refer him... He is in the office one day a week on Teusday. All other days he has his own practice and sugery...I felt like he was being forced to work there.
