Ratings for Dr. Brian D. Baraban
His entire "office" is stained with rust and grime. It is run out of the first floor of a residential building that looks like a dilapidated day-care center. The equipment he uses is horribly outdated, filthy, and just does not work anymore. If you dare say anything about his equipment you will recieve a stern talk about how medicine in his day was better than today. And that's the good part of visiting Baraban. Baraban himself is a hack of a health care "professional". He mocks and scrutinizes his patients for asking questions about their conditions, as if everybody in the world studies feet for a hobby. He dresses like a slob, always has several open sores on his lips, and acts like his 1960 podiatry degree means that he is the Alpha and the Omega. The man should have retired a decade ago, because it is evident to see that his "medical skills", much like his office, have remained in a time capsule from another era. When you call him out for being disrespectful and arrogant, he quickly switches gears and tries to pacify you with "clever" remarks that he thinks are jokes. He goes on and on about anecdotal stories that he likes, but don't make the mistake of asking him a question about the condition YOU'RE living with. Aside from his pathetic and miserable bedside manner, he is as arrogant as he is foolish. I wouldn't recommend this to someone as a last resort. As an actual Health Care Professional, I am appalled that this man can still see a patient, and I want to apologize on his behalf. People like him give medicine an awful name.
Very knowledgable doctor, patient and kind. Makes you feel comfortable. Friendly staff. I would recommend him to anyone.
This dr should not be practicing medicine anymore, he is older and no longer listens to his patients. It is clear he has not kept up with acceptable practices of medicine. Even worse than his medicine is the office. It is perhaps the most disgusting, worst kept medical facility that I have ever seen. I think he actually owns the building as well. The day I was there, the upstairs bathroom was actually leaking feces/urine through the ceiling and he was yelling at a tenant that it's their fault. There also appeared to be mold growing on the ceiling, walls and floor. I actually found a brand new office, down the road in the Selden Plaza by the TJ Maxx called Plaza Podiatry, it was beautiful and the 2 female drs were very caring and took pride in their medicine. This practice was in the 325 building on Middle Country Rd, between Plaza Dental and Selden Family Medicine.
