Ratings for Dr. Gregory J. Gerber
he is a nice guy, each appointment takes an hour to hour and a half once your seeing him and i waited in waiting area on average of half hour to hor each time.... they deifinately overbook. its hard to complain about him or complement him, all depends on whnat your looking for i guess, ill be honest its nothing more then a legal pill mill, i have bad rheumatoid arthritis (and cant spell for %$&, sorry ;-) )... but i went in initially desperate due to pain and in 2 months time was on 160mg of opana and 70mg of dilaudid for breakthru/per day, a day 60x 10mg marinol capsules/month. that was fine in beginning because i didnt hurt, and was higher then a kite until tolerance built up... but my goal was to try to find a fix for my source problem or at least result and maybe correct some of damaged spine, his goals are 100% narcotic related and his seems to really push opana. i finally left after 2 years for a more balanced approach to my issues so for me he didnt work out so well.
Dr.Gerber used to work for North Coast Professionals and seemed to be a very helpful doctor. He then switched practices to Northern Ohio Medical Specialists. At this time he overbooked his patients would not answer your phone calls requests or letters. He then dismissed his patients for minor infractions. HIs methods only are narcotic pain killers and when he dismissed his patients he never tapered any of them off. Now other Doctors in the Sandusky area will not take his patients for these reasons. His staff is very rude and seem to not care about the patients what so ever! I used to be a patient of his and I can say in twenty years of seeing many doctors and specialists I have never seen a practice so unprofessional or uncaring of a patient and his well being!
