Dr. Greenfield puts you at ease and is easy to relate to. His insights on internet addiction are spot on. He asks the deep and though-provoking questions. He put my teenage son at ease and helped him with managing his addictions.

Dr. Greenfield quickly establishes a comfortable relationship. He is someone you can relate to and you know he is listening because he follows up on what you say to gain greater insight. The EMDR treatments really do work.

Dr. Greenfield is uniquely placed to treat internet addiction for which our son needed treatment. It was important to me as the patient's mother that Dr Greenfield explained things in understandable terms and listened. My son is doing MUCH better thanks to Dr Greenfield

Biography

Managing the basics, balance, and feeling good can be challenging. As a medical psychologist I can help with anxiety, addictions, depression, phobias, relationship/marital stress, sexual issues, and trauma that limit you with psychiatric symptoms, psychological problems, and addictions. Using cutting-edge and evidence-based treatments I'll help you will identify/heal emotional pain so as to live a healthier and more fulfilling life. As an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCONN School of Medicine and a specialist in addiction medicine I keep current with the most effective and positively-focused treatments to help you create the life you desire. Using solution-focused therapies including: EMDR & IMAGO I'll help you heal anxiety, depression, marital/sexual concerns and addictions in an efficient, effective & compassionate manner. I also perform psychiatric/psychological evaluations and consultations. I have combined expertise as a Psychologist, Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist, and Addiction Medicine specialist working from a holistic perspective. I also founded The Center for Internet & Technology Addiction (www.virtual-addiction.com); we treat smartphone, computer, pornography and video game compulsion.
