Ratings for Dr. Christopher P. Beauchamp
I had initially been referred to Mayo and Dr. Beauchamp by a few individuals so I decided to send in my numerous images, reads, and reports from other physicians and medical facilities. Unfortunately I had a severe injury to my left hip that consisted of the ball joint of my hip being jammed into my pelvis, various tendon tears, mild bone marrow edema, osteoarthritis of the joint and atrophy of my left leg due to not being able to use it. After 6 months of waiting and review from Dr. Beauchamp and the board of orthopedic surgeons at Mayo, my medical records were sent back without explanation. In calling Mayo to find out why I was told "Dr. Beauchamp and the board have discussed it and decided there isn't anything they can do for you. You are to high risk.. sorry." In saying "high risk" they're referring to my aortic aneurysm. However these guys are supposed to be best of the best and fully capable of handling someone with my condition. That being said.. if a facility and a doctor won't help and individual who is obviously in severe pain and needs help. What does that say about both as a facility and a physician? Isn't that why you got into medicine in the first place? After a year of chronic pain I finally received treatment by a doctor out in Sun City. Thank God for him because since my way of life has dramatically improved. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider Beauchamp as your doctor as he considers and thinks way to highly of himself.
As a nurse of 30 years I can say Dr. Beauchamp is one of the best of the best. Having been the director of the surgery center I know that not all surgeons are created equal in skill and/or compassion. Dr. Beauchamp was amazing explaining to my son about his bone tumor and the need for surgery. In a stressful time it was a pleasure to meet such a professional and nice man. While no patient outcome is guaranteed, any patient would be lucky to have him as a surgeon.
There just aren't enough positive adjectives to describe Dr. Beauchamp. He is truley a gifted surgeon who treats each patient as though their his own family. Our daughter has been his patient the past seven years (since age ten) and he saved her life and her leg from a cancerous tumor. He worked diligently to get her the proper internal prosthetic to save her leg from amputation. He was the first surgeon to introduce this prosthetic to the state of Arizona and save other children from the same dilema. Thank goodness he is here in Arizona. He also made sure we were set up with the best oncologist in the state to help in her treatment. He is our HERO! The Sweeney Family
It's actually very simple. Dr. Beauchamp is the best of the best. He deals with each persons issue as if it were the only one he was working on. He actually smiled when looking at the x-rays after my surgery because things went so well. Thank you Dr. Beauchamp for everything you have done for me. Robert Hickey
God placed me in his hands. I was so very impressed with his knowledge and "can do" attitude. I had been to 3 other surgeons who were all leaning towards removal of my leg. Dr. Beauchamp and his PA, Frank, were incredible and took me of me - scheduling me for surgery of my sarcoma 2 days after I saw them! He will always have a very, very special place in my heart.
Dr Beauchamp is the very best doctor I know, he made me walk again when everyone said i would never walk again he replaced my hip and did miracles, would have gone to see him again in Arizona for a second hip if it has not been the stubborness of the medicare of new brunswick, I am severely handicapped now because i had to have a 4 hip replacement done in New Brunswick instead of going to Arizona to see Dr Beauchamp I recommend him because this doctor does miracles and people who have a chance to get treated by him have the best care.
