Dr. Maddux was able to quickly and accurately diagnose my condition as cervical dystonia. He carefully explained the causes and treatment protocols that were appropriate for me. He listens carefully to my concerns.

Dr. Maddux has no bedside manner and no customer service skills. He is academically arrogant and doesn't know how to convert complex language into simplistic terms for his patients. I accompanied my father on a routine Parkinson's visit where Dr. Maddux yelled at him during what we thought was a two-way discussion. His exact words were, "Wait! Don't talk to me while I'm typing!" He berated my father and shamed him for not completely answering a question he had asked. I DO NOT recommend this doctor -- especially for families who are dealing with such a complex disease and are curious for physician guidance.
