Ratings for Dr. Naili Duan
The staff are friendly upon arrival, however; I came from another practice with medications that were effective (only switched due to insurance), and Botox was required to keep my migraines under control. Dr. Duan switched my medication (to one that I was allergic to and documented in my chart as an allergen), and I got the run around for MONTHS regarding precertification on my insurance blaming other departments responsibility for the Botox and never got it. I will not be back.
Dr Duane is a caring, knowledgable neurologist. She spends time and answers every question. Most doctors here locally want to rush you in and out. I have had 17 years of experience with other neurologists and she is definitely a cut above the rest
Dr. Duan seems to be extremely knowledgeable about migraines. She is constantly talking, however, and does not listen well. She prescribed two medications for me without looking at my allergy list. The pharmacist caught the mistake. I called her three days in a row without a response. When I called to cancel my next appointment I explained that I would be leaving the practice, and why. Dr. Duan called me 10 minutes later and immediately launched into a discussion of the other meds I could take. She seemed stunned that I did not want her to prescribe anything for me, and that I would be leaving her practice. If a doctor does not have time to read your chart or answer your phone calls, she does not have time to be your doctor.
