I too found him very unhelpful for my depression and anxiety. We just sat around and chatted about my daily problems but I never received any feedback as to how I may fix them. He never showed me the CBT model of therapy to help combat my negative self talk. I found this to be extremely useful. Aloof is an accurate description of his personality and I never felt like I connected with him. Frankly he is expensive and a waste of time and hard earned money!

He is in the wrong profession. Very aloof and detached. Hard to open up to. He never encouraged any outside reading or other activities to cope with my depression. Talked more about my problems then how to help me overcome them.
