Dr. Subhash Kini

I wanted to improve my health and be there for my family and kids and do more activity. I especially want to do this with my son who is overweight too. My friends had done it in Mt Sinai St. Luke’s and I also decided to do it here with Dr Kini. I am very happy that I did it. I do not have much pain after surgery.

I am one year after weight loss surgery and I have lost a lot of weight and I am very happy about it. I was initially very scared of surgery because I thought I will have a lot of pain. But I didn’t and I am very happy that I did it with Dr Kini

The reason I went for surgery was that I was struggling with my weight for 5 years. I would lose 20 lbs but I would gain it back. I went to see Dr Kini 6 months ago. I was petrified on the morning of surgery. I didn’t know what to expect but everything was explained to me. The surgical team was awesome. I went through the procedure and I’m happy overall that I finally did it

I wanted to lose weight and get tidbits of all my meds. But I was very anxious and was almost thinking of canceling. I am happy I went ahead with weight loss surgery. I feel positive and happy and looking forward to what is to come for my health.

When I had the sleeve my weight was 369 pounds and went all the way down 223 lbs. I went for second stage gastric bypass.
