Ratings for Dr. Lindsay T. Hansen
I've been a patient of dr. Hansen for a few years. I've never had an issue with him he's always been very helpful until today. he was more focused on my past history then the question at hand. I feel like he did nit take me seriously. The way he looked at me was almost as if I was a joke and wasting his time I will never go back to this doctor. The doctor didn't even ask details of why I came in he just throw me out like garbage If you want to feel like an idiot go see dr. Hansen, oh and his staff is very condescending and their voicemails and when you call for directions. If you are a sensitive person or someone who takes pride in who they are do not go see this doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Hansen for many years. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, does alot of research on the issues, and I feel at 81 I would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Hansen. He has seen me through diabetes, cancer, and heart failure and was always there for me checking everyday on my well being. I would recommend him to anyone wanting great care. Richard D
I am a 66 year old woman with a history of thyroid and breast cancer. When I was told of my breast cancer diagnosis, I chose to go to a San Francisco Physician who is recognized as one of the best breast cancer doctors in the United States. It was difficult to discover a Las Vegas physician willing to work with my cancer physician. It was disconcerting to me that Las Vegas doctors could not see beyond their egos to work with an out-of-town physician, especially one ranked highly in Best Doctors of the USA.I believe I am alive today because Dr. Hansen who also has received many awards and honors, agreed to work with my surgeon. Dr. Hansen is very intelligent, methodical, compassionate and a perfectionist. It is a privilege to be a patient of Dr. Hansen. When I visit his office, I know I am getting the best care from the "best doctor in Las Vegas!"
I know the directions above say to be polite, so I will try. Dr Hansen is a very poor listener, he is rushed, and he addresses his patients in a very belittling way. He wants to set up some boutique practice where he wanted me to pay him a retainer (which I did) and then he was not available and would not return my calls during the only time I had a question about chest pains. He makes poor eye contact and seems puzzled by common symptoms. I really don’t have much good to say and I generally have positive relationships with my doctors (I have written only good reviews so far). Please avoid him. Maybe he has a problem with greed, I don’t know, but he does not care for his patients.
