First time to a urologist. I submitted my symptoms online during the scheduling process, to include weak urine stream and intermittent erection (maintaining) problems. After asking several questions pertaining to my urine problem, Doctor P. asked if he could do an exam. I asked if he had also read about my erection problem, and he seemed seemed to have forgotten, as he had to look at the paper in front of him again and realized he missed that. After some general questions, he asked if I had taken Viagra and I replied I haven't but wanted to first find out if there was an underlying cause pointing to a more serious health condition that could cause it. After the prostate exam, I was prescribed Flomax and Viagra, bam, end of story. No tests, no imaging, no in depth check for heart problems or other health condiditions. Not impressed at all. This doctor may be knowledgable and perhaps was rushing to finish up, but really didn't seem to explain what else could be causing my symptoms.
