Ratings for Dr. Michael J. Woodbury
Today is 08/31/15. I've seen Dr Michael Woodbury at his location on Germantown road several times over a 5 year or better period. There have always been borderline rude, unfriendly behavior feom his staff. He always had poor interaction skills but his remedies seemed to work fairly well.Well today I had an appointment on my lunch break and this was the longest wait. Not considering it took a few weeks to make the appointment. This was by far the worst customer service experience in my days as a consumer in any capacity with any business. He walks into the room with barely a greeting. I say to him that the wait in the patient room was over 30 minutes. He ignores me. I asked him if he was just going to ignore my statement. I'm speaking calm, not belligerent in a mild way. His response was that he greets me and the first thing I do is complain about the wait. REALLY, WHO IS THE CUSTOMER IN THIS EXCHANGE. I asked if he would just acknowledge my statement. He becomes arrogant and says to me that the wait is normail, he has many patients to see and if I don't like the wait and I can somewhere else. I respond that this fine and goes to the front desk for a refund. My concern here is the e blatant disrespect.the arrogance and audacity is amazing. The total disregard for the patient. Then the professional irresponsibility to address a medical condition that the pa to enter is obviously there to address. Is this really a representation of the medical professions? ARE PATIENTS SO PLENTIFUL THAT Dr Michael Woodbury can just have no concern or regard. He is impersonal and obviously never connected to my human face to know that I am a repeat customer.
I first went to dr Woodbury in 2012. He gave me scripts and got my skin to looking really amazing. So I went back today in sept 2014. I wasn't super impressed with his bedside manner the first time I went but that's not what I'm paying him for. But today he was really nice and helpful. I like that he got me in and out quickly and what he prescribes gets my skin healthy again. His nurse assistant is one of the sweetest people. I hate I didn't catch her name. The front desk ladies were nice but they kept asking questions I didn't know the answers to, like I would know them five seconds later if they asked again. The Dr is one of those doctors that is a little difficult to follow because he talks fast and he uses words that I didn't understand. But he explained how to use my Rx and even gave me some samples to tie me over until my pharmacy could get some more. I love the building and I love that I didnt have to wait long. I'll definitely be back
This doctor is awful. He talked to me as though I was a skin cancer (a "procedure") not a human. He wants to get in and get out of the examining room. He does one procedure, then have you come back for the next procedure, each time charging insurance for an office visit. Seems indigent if you ask a question, before he starts cutting on you. I am certain that he had me come in more times than necessary. My incision got infected and had a bad outcome.
