Ratings for Dr. G. Raymond Payne
Dr. Payne replaced both hips and I am without pain and I have completely regained my mobility. He gave detailed instructions how to prepare before and after the surgery. This gave me confidence in his techniques for a positive outcome. I liked him, his staff and the hospital where he performed the surgeries. I highly recommend him to those seeking a competent surgeon.
Informed and helpful staff that make your experience pleasant. Every appointment i’ve had has been no longer than an hour to an hour and a half. Highly recommend this organization and the specially Dr. Raymond Payne. i’ve had multiple replacement surgeries including a right knee total replacement, over shoulder replacement, and the elbow replacement, I’ve also had two major back surgeries. This experience with my left knee replacement working with Dr. Payne and his staff ranks at the top.
Living with a diagnosis of AVN of the right hip and seeking medical coverage for over two years, my mind was set on having Dr. Payne perform my hip replacement procedure. In my time waiting for an insurance policy I read all the medical procedure info I could possible find about AVN and reviewed my x-rays and MRI's endlessly. Needless to say I really didn't have many questions for Dr. Payne because I did my homework! The whole process for me was smooth, simple and to the point; Two office visits, physical, lab work, surgery, post-op recovery, home PT and a follow-up. I felt very comfortable with the office staff, radiographer, assistance and of course Dr. Payne. I must give thanks to all the staff at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital that treated and cared for me during my post-op recovery. I was very impressed by friendliness and professionalism given to me. The long awaited hip replacement day was on July 11, 2017. Thank You, Dr. Payne
Very rude said I need back surgery went to him after hip replacement still having terrible pain he acted like I was a drug addiction . He was a hour late but no apology. He treated me as though I was stupid. He stormed out of room. Tried to refer me for back surgery without even looking at a xray. I will not recommended him to anyone. He is too rude
Dr. Payne....top notch doctor....if i hadnt tripped and sprung my new knee two weeks after the operation I would have just about been fully healed in approx four weeks. As it turned out,my recovery took a bit longer. now my knee is just about perfect.
