Ratings for Dr. James L. Blair
Had to go somewhere else. Doesn't make eye contact or listen very well. Seemed to make up his mind before I finished telling him what was going on. I felt very intimidated by him. I tried to explain what I was experiencing and he kept changing my words. I went to a different doctor and he knew exactly what I was saying and explained the confusion very simply, easily and immediately. It was actually a doctor with fewer credentials and dramatically less experience.
I got a cholesterol test as the doctor ordered, and didn't get to know the result until a follow-up office visit one month later. My cholesterol is over 300! When the cholesterol this high, the doctor should inform the patient ASAP. Very bad!
I dislike going to the doctor ,so much I usually put it off until several things are wrong. I can tell a lot about a doctor by the questions he asks and the time he spends asking and listening. This doctor is interested in my best health. He spends 20 minutes at least on q&a, then 10 on exam, then 5 to 7 more on what and why regarding tests. I was really surprised at the care I received. I hate to say it, but I trust him.
