First visit with Dr. Heron, prescribed a prostate biopsy, He did not spend any time with me to what to expect. I did not recieve any paperwork on what I was supposed to do before biopsy. They emailed me the paperwork and they sent me paperwork. At this point my anxiety level was thru the roof!!! I went to have the biopsy done and still did know what to expect. The nurse was great and explained everything that I would expect, but only 5 to 10 minites before the procedure. I asked her if I could ask Dr. Heron questions while he was doing the biopsy and she said of course. Dr. Heron came in and the nurse said he needed to wait a few minites because she just game me tbe local anistea meds. While he was doing the biopsy, I asked him if the tests came back negitive, what he would recommend to reduce the size of my prostate. He said well we could cut off your balls and your prostate would shrink real quick. REALLY!!!! I raised my head amd turned to him and said I would pass on that!!! 3rd visit and I brought a friend with me so I would not misunderstand any recommendations he had for me. We both thought he was prescribing me flowmax for my concern but no it was avodart. He never told me or mentioned avodart in my 3rd visit or any other treatments to fix my enlarged prostate. He wanted to put me on meds for the rest of life which would make me impotent for the rest of my life... Highly recommend stay clear of Dr. Heron and find a real professional urologist...

I could not be more pleased with Dr, Heron ‘s surgical excellence and prognosis on my prostate surgery. Three weeks post surgery I am doing extraordinarily well and looking forward to the future.

He refers to himself as a plumber. Maybe he should take up the trade.

Little wait sometimes up to 1/2 hr. Really not bad for a good doctor. I trust this Doctor. He is very smart and a likeable man.
