I had a similar experience. The first time I went, they apparently rescheduled me but failed to let me know and were not taking blame for it. The second time, I had an appointment and spend the whole time trying not to cry. He had a horrible bedside manner. I felt like I was being yelled at and he was mad that I was wasting his time. I have had several doctors concerned I have rheumatoid arthritis, but not only told me I dont, but made me feel like an idiot for thinking I did and following my doctor's referral to him. He was not listening to my questions, so I had to be rude back in order to be heard. He gave me a look like I asked the stupidest question, NO question in a doctor's office is stupid-its about your health! I guess I was putting up too much of a fight because he diagnosed me with fibromyalgia-like "if i say she has this, she will shut up and get out of my office." awful experience

I left his office in tears. My Internal med Dr diagnosed me with Lupus. I have ALL the symptoms including the butterfly rash and inflamed knuckles both of which I had the day I saw him. I keep getting major infection one after the other including getting pneumonia 3 times this past year. I had ONE blood test and it was negative. My Dr's and all the Lupus websites, including Lupus Foundation of America say it can take months, even years for it to show up in the blood. It is rare but you can have it with a negative test. He said all this was wrong. So all my Dr's and websites are lying? He said it was Fibro which doesn't explain ANY of my symptoms. He was unwilling to draw blood or consider anything else because of ONE blood test.He insulted my weight(I'm 5 ft 3 and size 10.Not THAT heavy). When he found out I home school he asked if they even get to socialize with other kids. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH WHATS WRONG WITH ME? If you need a Dr to think outside of box, this is NOT Dr 4 u
