Ratings for Dr. John A. Hoehn
Dr Hoehn is very knowledgeable and experienced, and it's obvious he truly cares about his patients. It's great having a doctor I can trust. The wait times, however, are horrible. I literally have to clear my entire afternoon for a simple checkup.
Dr. Hoehn is a great Dr. with a great bedside manner, and he takes the time to explain everything to you. I have been seeing him for at least 20 years. I have lost my insurance, and they will make payment arrangements with you. You could not find a better Dr. anywhere.
I have been seeing Dr. Hoehn for over 20 years. His diagnostic capabilities are un-matched. Excellent bed side manner. Not an alarmist, but certainly will order the necessary tests as he sees fit. The only complaints are: Some (not all) of the office staff can be rude at times. Also, the long wait in the office is a bit troublesome. Patients time is as important as the physicians. Dr. Hoehn, change your scheduling to allow for a more reasonable wait time in your office. While emergencies can affect wait time, over an hour at each visit is not uncommon to wait. Simply too long.
The wait time in this office is horrendous. I have waited for over an hour many times before even being called back. I was also prescribed a drug that was in the family of drugs that I disclosed I was allergic to. I was very disappointed with the care I received. It has gone down hill.
I have to agree with a previous poster...John and Nancy are two of the kindest folks you will ever meet. They built their own facility to better be able to manage care. As the practice grew, a couple of other docs joined the practice. You can be confident that if John allows anyone to practice at his place, they are top notch, too.
