I strongly disagree with the other rating. I have been a Shickley patient for 4 yrs and he's performed two major surgeries on me (although he always tries PT first - not knife-happy) and 1 developed an infection (blamed eventually on poor OR cleanliness). He spotted it at my first post-surgery check-up and treatment was immediate and thorough. Shockley is a superb diagnostician, caring and compassionate. - B Pinzka, Cincinnati

This dr. would not believe that I had infection in my surgical site when I tried to tell him. This went on for several weeks...no test ,no nothing. I ended up being admitted to the hospital and was flat on my back taking IV's for over 8 weeks. I had staph, strep, ecoli and many other bacteria in my incision. I would have died if not for the care of an infectuous disease dr. Stay away from this dr!!!!
